Most unusually for a flight training organisation of this size, NSF Sibson is lucky enough to boast three taildraggers on its' fleet, including a 1950 Piper Super Cub, 1941 Tiger Moth DH82 and our flagship, the Pitts Special S2A.
We are therefore specialists in the art of tailwheel conversions for fun vintage flying or aerobatic aspirations. Pilots with no previous experience may wish to begin on the Piper Super Cub, which offers straightforward tailwheel practice - and from there it is a simple jump to the Tiger Moth or the Pitts Special with its added complexities of a variable pitch prop. .
