Pilot training - Piloting skills certificate

A short, 10 hour course unique to NSF Sibson. This offers a detailed overview of the PPL course and is designed to give the student a thorough introduction to flying a light aircraft. At the end of the course the student will have achieved a level of competency and will have amassed a quarter of the time required for the PPL course should they decide to continue. No medical or examinations are required at this stage.

Exercises covered include: Effects of controls, straight & level flight, climbing, turning and descending, take off, circuit and landing, navigation including a land away at another airfield, basic radio navigation and basic instrument flying.
