The ultimate flying experience in a Pitts Special aerobatic aircraft. The Pitts S2A is a two-seat open cockpit stunt bi-plane. At 200hp this aircraft is awesome and is one of the world’s most famous aerobatic machines. A must for the real thrill seeker.
The aim of the flight will be to introduce you to the wonderful sensation of flying aerobatic manoeuvres and to let you actually handle the controls if you wish. You will experience loops, rolls, stall turns, spins and tailslides – as much or as little as you can handle!
After an initial brief by your instructor he/she will proceed to get the aircraft airborne into the local area, demonstrating a variety of aerobatic manoeuvres. Once the aircraft is levelled off, you will then be offered the opportunity to fly it for yourself under the guidance of your instructor. You can expect this to be for approximately 80% of the flying time. The most important thing is that you relax and enjoy your experience.
Since the aircraft is open cockpit, we recommend that you bring warm clothing with you. All specialist equipment required is provided.
