Night Flying 2009/10
Night lights at Sibson have been installed and we can now offer night flying most evenings (last flying slot of the day). On Wednesdays extended night flying up to 20:00 hrs takes place. Runway 15 and 33 are available for night flying.
A PPL night flying qualification (formerly a rating) requires a minimum of 5 hours
night flying time, which must consists of the following:
3 hours dual instruction of which 1 hour must be cross
country.
The solo requirement is 5 take offs and 5 full stop
landings.
